Love the Rangers here today despite Scott Feldman's struggles he's got a 4.54 ERA at home which is considered good in that Texas ball park. He'll go up against Cliff Lee, and that's why he's a dog, but Lee has struggled against the Rangers particularly in this stadium where in his last 6 game starts has a 9.19 ERA. Texas has a career 105 AB vs. Lee with a .333 average and a .772 OPS.
Rangers are just hot right now with a .395 average and 7.45 runs per 9 in their last 5 vs. LHP and .333 average last 10. SEattle on the other hand just a .241 average in their last 10 vs. RHP and their bullpen is awful at 9.89 ERA. For Seattle to win I think Lee has to pitch a complete game and I don't see it happening in Texas. Feldman in 7 career starts vs. the Mariners has pitched great with a 3.13 ERA and his best start this year was here vs. the Mariners going 7 IP giving up just 1 ER.
Mariners just 7-20 in their last 27 road, and 5-18 L23 vs. AL West. They are 20-46 in their last 66 vs. the Rangers in Texas. TExas on the other hand is on fire 13-4 last 17 home and 5-0 in their last 5 home vs. a LH starter.
Sox have really started to play well for an extended period and Dice K will try to continue his 2.79 ERA and 1.29 Whip in his last 3 starts. I think he does it here today against the struggling Indians who have just a .192 average vs. RHP in their last 5 games. Boston on the other hand go up against Carmona who they have a .309 average in 55 AB in their career.
Boston has a .308 average with 5.94 runs per 9 in their last 5. Also add in Clevelands offensive struggles their bullpen has a 10.36 ERA over their last 10 games. Cleveland just 5-22 in their last 27 game #1's and 17-46 in their last 63 as a dog while the Sox are 12-3 in Dice K's last 15 road starts as a favorite and 19-7 in their last 26 meetings with the Indians.
